   I love your reviews, but I have to disergae. Leona has a foundation, that being her voice. She is the most talented vocalist since Whitney Houston. She doesn't have the confidence or amazing performance ability of Beyonce, but her voice is golden. She has the most gorgeous whistle register of anyone I've ever heard, not to mention she can belt it out in her chest voice. With the exception of one or two songs, every song on her album is amazing, in my opinion. You can hear that she put her heart into every song on Spirit. We also have to keep in mind that this is her debut album. I think the Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Christina, comparisons are setting us all up for unreasonable expectations. She does have the vocals, but she needs time to really find what suits her best.P.S. About the video, I read the the UK version wouldn't be allowed in the US. The reason was because it "alluded to self-harm" (I assume the girl in the bath tub scene). Obviously, I have no way of really checking as to whether it's accurate or not, but it's seems reasonable given the fact that they redid the video entirely, including the concept.
